Off conference Barcelona

Yesterday evening was the first talk I went to go and see and I saw Jessica Walsh. Listening to her speak has really inspired me to get back to my playful graphic roots and start drawing and experimenting with different materials. She is only 26 and already is in partnership with Stevan sagmeister who I studied closely at college and I really enjoy his work. She was quite fearless when it came to her work and wanted to make a statement about what she is doing. The work her studio done for adobe max was really inspiring all done by pencils, and the shopping centres as campaigns and adverts she did were also inspiring, especially the models painted in patterns and words!
