first brief 2nd year

The brief we have been set is to produce a short 20-30 second animation that will show the affects of global warming and that we still have time to change our habits to make the world a better place.

some of the key themese we have the chice of are 

• transport
• food wastage
• recycling (do we really need new mobile phones or new ipads?)

I've chosen to do my animation on food wastage, and to show the use by date isn't always what you should be looking at and how growing your own food is a good way to reduce waste and the food you don't pick and eat will compost back into the earth therefore putting nutrients into the soil. 

im aiming for a short 20 second animation and to put as much into it as possible. i want kids to be attracted to animation because its their generation that is going to be living through the global warming effects we have produced. i also want to aim it at adults so they can see the effects and how they can involve their children to do something outdoors and to be interested in growing their own food instead of wasting it from the supermarket.

• the benefits of growing your own food
• existing animation styles
• the backing music to my animation
• a script to add to my animation
• colours
