this poster show a glamourous women holding on to a submarine serviceman. she looks completely bawled over by him, because he is so brave for joining the effort. she is touching up one of his pins on his uniform making him look pristine and well groomed. its aimed at men to feel guilty that they aren't in the submarines and therefore they don't have beautiful women admiring him for his services. the man in the poster looks very smug/ proud of himself almost showing off because he has a pretty women who couldn't be prouder to be his, its almost a fashion statement that if you do join the submarines then you get women. the orange and red colour scheme works well together because of the women's red accents, and the red stars.
