graduate show poster inspiration

These are a collection of graduate show posters that i have found.

i liked the 2 colour choice on this poster keeping the colours simple. the text gives you all the image you need. there are small details within the text that give it that something special and it makes you want to look further into the poster to find out what it is about.

i love the painted feel of this poster. its for an art and design class. i think this poster is showcasing everything it needs too, the students have chosen to show to tools they used to create their work for the show. i love the green and black contrast colouring but my favourite part of the poster is the painted edge feel.

when i look at this poster it makes me feel like the students stand out from the rest of the crowd and they are the black sunglasses where as the rest of the designers are the white sunglasses. this poster also follows the 2-3 colour rule and i think i will be using this on my poster design.

this poster is the most drastic  have seen which uses more colours and shades of colours to create a printed poster, they have used typography to create an image of a game machine which obviously links into the names of the course the graduates have attended. this poster works well with creating something interesting to look at but i think this has too many colours.

this poster i find really odd and undecided on. i like the brown paper background but i am not totally sold on the cartoon style doodle which they have used as their poster image. if i saw this poster i wouldn't be inspired to go to the show they were holding.
